Also, all the USB 2.0 ports on back of motherboard are gone bad. So, all the USB 3.0 ports aren't working after installing Windows 10. The motherboard is Gigabyte from 2013, and there are no USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 10 available on the site. There is some issue on my PC with the USB ports too. I would take the hard drive out and then plug it again, and it would work without issues. Sometimes it also made clicking noise, but only sometimes. I want to format it, because sometimes the HDD wasn't showing up on my PC. Is it possible? If yes, which tool should I use for it? There are low level USB drive format tool available for free on the internet, but most of these just show flash drives, SD cards etc as candidates for format, and not external hard drives.
